No I don't have a reference number. I don't think he uses them. Maybe he should. 
Oh well. I'm not too concerned just yet. If we haven't heard anything by the new year, then I'll start to get worried! Just harass the **** out of him Rich, that usually works with people who are quick to take your money but slow to give you anything in return.

I've emailed him at both the email addresses I have so hopefully I should hear something in the next few days. Agreed no need to panic just yet but I'm not going to let him forget about the order either. Might ask for a quote on a phantom follow up order just to keep him interested.

No he's no- yet. I don't want to rush him at this stage as I don't want to end up with substandard kit. I will bring it to his attention if I think we're getting too close though.
It's getting close... bearing in mind that post from Eastern Europe can take several weeks he should be thinking about posting the order in the next week.
For the records, UK distance selling regulations state that 28 days is a reasonable time for delivery:
"advertisers must be able to fulfil orders within a certain delivery period which must be stated at the point of sale. This should normally be 28 days unless there are particular circumstances where it is reasonable for the advertiser to state a delivery period in excess of 28 days;"

Alex has got back to me (no need for phantom order prompting yet) and said the first package will be posted this weekend. He's still sorting the others but they should be done soon.
That's great news... I wonder what will be in the first batch!
